Are home improvement work permits required by towns and
cities being used to extract more taxes from home owners via
attributing maintence or minor improvments, instead as
increased value therefore increased revenue for towns and
cities? Ive seen and heard stories from home owners who are
having to sell their homes after fixing them due to tax
increases by the town or city because the home owner can no
longer afford the tax payment.
