Battling Ships no more
It's too large for a bash script, maybe python instead.
...If I were to use a few preset boards at random this would be easier.

My color exploration led to burger with chez plz, possibly my best website to date.
After my tic-tac-toeing I realized that the battling ships game was not so different, in spirit, from the toe board. And so I set about making a war game in a time of war, and thinking of that all the while. The game of it was the point, not the war of it, but many games are violent. Anyway, just a thinking exercise, no harm intended.
~/bin/new/bashing-ships.sh is a work in progress, one I may finish at some point; I stopped while reworking the cpu players move and don't feel great about resuming.
Because it's fun
Tonight I made ~chezpwrd/bin/naughts-and-crosses.sh, no winner is declared but don't let that stop you. I recommend pairing this with classic rock for the full immersion experience.
