Still no new house

Now that we have two kids it was time we actually made an effor to buy a new house. We looked all summer, ended up seeing nearly 30 houses and made an offer on 3. Lost the first two but finally on this last one we had our offer accepted.

A few days out from the closing and the seller dies. Yep, one of those random things that your realtor says "never ever happens." So now we wait for the death certificate. Checked with the state on a time frame...mid October, over a month away.

Now the quesiton is, what will be the next issu to pop up to keep us from moving in before the snow starts to fall?
