Being busy making shit for hire I overlooked this nice community. They kindly let me in and I don't know anyone here yet. I'll try to make things but I don't want to make noise.
Shhhh...
Ugh... writing in pure HTML is funny but boring. Need templates.
It's strange, they gave me lots of space but I don't know what to write about. Well, I'll get back to my passion: uw library, and for now I'll just write down ideas to implement.
The next thing to do is dump page. But I do need templates for that.
twtxt is the best place for all this gibberish. Need to integrate.
Although I don't care if someone else is reading this (I hope no one is) I'm very curious if they are. I'd like stats but I have no access to logs. I've seen a counter implementation here but it links to other site and pulls a picture from it. That's not good either.
It seems I can do that with CGI. Yes, it's costly, but if triggered by some JS event this will show the number of rare alive visitors and the hoster won't be offended.
If I were a hoster... ha ha! Very funny given my ongoing challenge to do without money and anti-social mindset. Well, if I were him, I'd put everything into a LXC container, gave access to the Tor network only, gave users subdomains and allowed reverse proxies for nginx.
Tilde club members/resources I found interesting thus far:
- tilde club gallery: just excellent!
- https://tildeverse.org/: just a reminder for myself that such thing does exist
- tips and tricks: starting point for discovery
- Sitemap by date: looks like a cron job scanning user directories
- Disk Usage Leaderboard: might be good starting point if I ever decide to sniff their socks
- https://tilde.club/~parsec/: will track this gibberish somehow later
- The Holy Bible
