                           Alternating Month Calendar

This calendar regularizes the months and universalizes the year. A Gregorian
date in this calendar is easy to calculate.

A week is six days. The epoch is equivalent to the one suggusted by Merlin
Stone, which counts year 8000 BCE as the year zero. A new year begins on March
2nd. Calculating the day of week is easier. If the next month does not begin on
the same day of week as current month, it ends on the same day of week, else it
begins on the same day of week.

This calendar uses the 95-year leap cycle; more complex rules are used as a
tradeoff for short-term accuracy.

A year is a leap year if the year number modulus 95 is one of the following:
0, 4, 8, 12, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66, 70, 74, 78,
83, 87, 91.

To convert a Gregorian date to the AM date, you just need to remember the offset
of current month, and that March is Primile (month one). For example, to convert
March 7th, 2025 in Gregorian Calendar, subtract one from the day, rename March
to Primile, and then add 8000 to the year to get Primile 6th, 10025.

Like some other languages, every day of the week is named after a Roman god.
There is no day of Mercury.
