Salutations
I'm not entirely sure on what I'm doing, yet somehow you found this site. So I guess that's good?
My goals here are as follows:
- Have a space to practice HTML/CSS
- Improve my Linux understanding
- Attempt to become a part of a community
The last bullet may not actually happen (technically neither may the first two). What I have experienced is that communities are hard to become a part of. Particularly if they are long standing, like tilde.club is. I see this on IRC repeatedly where a user joins, they make an effort, but because they are unknown are pushed aside unless they make hurculean efforts to establish themselves.
Having said that, I'm excited that I was granted access to tilde.club. Only time will tell if I'll be able to feel "a part of" this. All of the effort though rests on me and I understand that.
