John E. Erickson Of Scambler Dies

Fell Dead As He Was Entering House After A Horseback Ride

John E. Erickson dropped dead from a heart attack at his home Tuesday at about noon. He had been riding horseback to look over his wood lot, and was going into the house when he fell dead. He was 63 years, 6 months and 25 days old.

Mr. Erickson came to Scambler 14 years ago from Powers Lake, N. D. His wife died five years ago March 7 and he is survived by three sons, Ernest and Dewey at home and Ervin of Minneapolis, and two daughters, Mrs. Vern Kenny and Gladys Erickson also of Minneapolis.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the Cormorant church, conducted by the Rev. Helland of Hawley.
