2x2x2 First LayerREMEMBER: Before starting any algorithm, make sure that the front (dark grey) face is facing you and the top layer is on the top.
Search the bottom layer for a corner with a white face on a side face of the cube. Rotate the bottom layer so that the corner is below the position that it belongs. In this example;
Once in position with the white face to the front perform the appropriate algorithm.
There are four other possible positions shown below. Before performing Algorithm 3 you may need to rotate the down face so that the corner is under a top corner that does not have a solved in place corner. Follow the appropriate algorithm to place the corner on the bottom layer with the white face on a side face of the cube. Then place the corner under the position it belongs and perform either, algorithm 1 or 2 above to put the corner in place.
Now follow the instructions on this page to correctly place all of the first layer corners. When you have all four corners in their correct positions you are ready to solve the 2x2x2 Final Layer. |
