it would be nice to have a tool that could calculate the required colour and opacity for a shadow layer such that it would transform two (or get the closest answer for more than two) given colours into two other given colours

for redrawing something where opacity was clearly used but that data isn't part of the image any more

seems like a nice small project to work on
