Well, for a short intro..., my name is Hunor, I live in a small town in Transylvania, near the Harghita mountains.
What I do in my free time:
- play with my son :)
- listen to strange noises on my Icom IC-706MKIIG Transciever as I am a licensed amateur radio operator with the callsign YO6FOR and 233HA101.
- hit the road with my BMW R1100GS from '96.
- yell on the mike while playing computer games with friends.
- hang around my beehives :)
Since I discovered the tilde universe I'm kind of obsessed with it, it teleports me back in time, reminds me of the beauty and simplicity of the internet and communication we had back than. I always felt a strange attraction to unix like systems but I never had the perseverance to stick with it long enough.
I will try to keep this blog updated, my plan is to update it directly from the terminal using VIM. It is also great for practice to write in english (my mother tongue is hungarian).

As I am a huge fan of music I will add a song for every post so here is the first one:
Blue Boy is a pseudonym for the Scottish DJ, Alexis 'Lex' Blackmore. The single Remember Me peaked at #8 in the UK Singles Chart in February 1997. The single also went to number two on the American dance chart. The track is built around two samples from the 1973 live version of "Woman of the Ghetto", a 1969 soul song by Marlena Shaw, originally recorded for her album The Spice of Life.
