Sandwich Family (younger kids and older adults and you are in the middle)

Three areas You, Recovery, Everything Else You is who you are, want to be. Who you were is not part of you. Recovery is living our values, embracing trust and restarting accountability, it isn't 'Not Doing' Everything else - family, friends, vocation, community, faith, etc. It isn't General (not a dumping ground)

Ven Thich Nhat Hanh - We do have the ability to change our past. If it's still in your head, it's still with you. Deal with it, resolve what happened. Let it recede, then it takes it's proper place in our past.
